Seven
Spirits |

| And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Revelation 4:5 | |||||
The seven banners represent the candlestick, or menorah in the heavenly tabernacle. Flames rise from the seven firepots, and within the flames are contained the names of the Spirits as enumerated in Isaiah 11:10. The ministry of these banners is to usher the worshipper into the Throne room of God and invoke meditation on the mystery of the Baptism of Fire. The side drapings suggest the smoke that rises from the burning lamps and the sound of the bells remind us of the holiness of God. The central banner, Spirit of the Lord, is fashioned in an emblem of the descending Dove surrounded by the flames. |
