COLORS: Gold represents royalty and the purifying fire of God. The banner is gold on gold on gold; three golds representing the awesome holiness of the King. The fabric is fine white and gold threads woven together, a type of the purity, holiness and glory of the King. It is brilliant, reflective gold because God is "resplendent with light" (Psalm 76-4). "…He comes in golden splendor…" (Job 37:22). "His glory covers the heavens and the earth is full of His praise. His splendor is like the sunrise…" (Habakkuk 3:3-4a). "The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a devouring fire" (Exodus 24:17).

STREAMERS:  The streamers represent the glory that surrounds the Lord and express His awesome light. "…rays flash from His hand where His power is hidden" (Habakkuk 3:4b). "…brilliant light surrounded Him" (Ezekiel 2:7). "And the city had no need of the sun, neither the moon, to shine in it; for the glory of God did lighten it…" (Revelation 21:23).

FINIALS:  These finials are golden and resemble the calyx of a flower, symbolizing the everlasting vigor and freshness of the life of the King.
